If you have never corresponded with me before via email, it's possible
that your mail might fly straight into my spam bucket. To ensure this doesn't
happen, put the following somewhere in the subject line of your email:
":howdy" (that's a colon immediately followed by the word "howdy", no spaces in
between). My filters will latch on to that and bring your mail to my
attention. Sorry for the inconvenience, but I've had 1000+ spam days, and I'm
sure this will only grow. For known correspondents my system works very well,
but out-of-the-blue emails often look like spam to the filters.
